I will sing to the LORD as long as I live. I will sing praises to my God while I exist. Psalms 104: 33. Brother Rickey Taylor joined our church family in July, 2004. He is a gifted singer who has been involved in music and education ministries since 1980. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from West Carolina University, then received a Master's Degree in Church Music from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. If the Bible is the bones of our worship, then music is the heart. Brother Rickey leads the church in songs to lift our spirits, and has tapped into the creativity of many in the congregation. He loves to present music with a fresh approach, and delights the congregation with variety. Every service is unique

Pastor Michael joined our church family in January, 2008. He has served in churches in Florida and Georgia as a Youth and Children's Pastor since 2000. His passion is for children and seeing them grow in their walk with God. Michael is a graduate of the Baptist College of Florida with a degree in Christian Education and Elementary Education. Michael has been married to his partner in ministry, Tasha, since 2001. They have three beautiful children; Emily Faith, Lauren Grace, and Michael David. Michael's passions include singing, writing, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. Michael knows that children are a gift from the Lord and that if you train up a child in the way he should go, when he is old he will not depart from it (Psalm 127:3, Proverbs 22:6)

Billy Ray joined our staff as Pastor of Evangelism August 2010. He has oversite of all evangelistic ministries of the church including the Hope Ministry Center. He is also in charge of the office administration.

Worship "Come Let Us Worship and Bow Down. Let Us Kneel Before the Lord...Oh, that you would listen to His voice today!" (Psalm 95:6-7)The Worship ministry of FBC Bushnell exist to Glorify God. It is the aim of the Worship Ministry each time we gather to bring praise to the Father and prepare the hearts of our church for the preaching of the Word of God. We join together for Worship every Sunday at 9:30 a.m , 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. We also meet on Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. We pray that you will be able to join us.Opportunities to Serve Opportunities abound in the Praise and Worship Team. Do you love to sing or play music? Join the choir, or be one of the many talents we are blessed to listen to during our Worship services. Do you like acting? The Drama Team is for you. Are you technically inclined? If so, the sound and computer control booth needs you. We always need assistance with decorations for special celebrations, sewing and repairing costumes, and sharing ideas for skits. There are many ways to share the joy of worship, to communicate the wisdom of the Bible, and to help others find salvation. The Praise and Worship team offers the chance to share, to praise, to fellowship, and to worship.

Alex Davies joined our staff in October of 2010. He is a native of Asheville, North Carolina. He served at FBC Leesburg, FL. for two years before joining our staff. Currently Alex is finishing his Undergrad degree from the Baptist College of Florida.

Student MinistryAs a church, we want to invest in our youth by doing whatever it takes to introduce them to Christ, to provide a firm foundation for their growing faith, and to give them opportunities to minister and to introduce others to Jesus. As 1 Timothy 4:12 say, “Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.”

Our BeliefsGod so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal ife. God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but so the world may be saved through Him. John 3:16-17

Our VisionBring 'em, build 'em, train 'em, send 'em!Bringing people in: Jesus said at the home of Zacchaeus that he came to Seek and to Save that which was lost. Our scriptural commission is to bring people to faith in Jesus Christ. Are you bringing people to hear the gospel? Do your family members, neighbors, friends and co-workers know Jesus? Bring them in! Share your testimony, invite them to Sunday School, bring them with you to Worship. We must have a vision for reaching the lost.Building people up: We also have a role of edifying and encouraging believers to become part of our fellowship and grow closer to Jesus. Are you an encourager or discourager? When other believers see you, do they see a faithful Christian or an apathetic hypocrite? Read Ephesians 4:12Training them: One thing we often forget is that training ourselves in the Word to stay strong in our faith and share our faith with others is a vital part of Christian growth. We need to be taught the scriptures and teach others as well. We must know how to share our faith and be trained for service. Are you studied up and ready to serve? Review Colossians 4:2-6Sending them out: The ministry that Jesus began and called the church was all about Life Change. Giving people a purpose and passion helped build great excitement among the twelve disciples and the crowds that followed Jesus. What a difference the community sees when someone who does not profess Christ has a salvation experience with Him, then goes and tells others what Jesus has done. This phenomenon is the heart of the New Testament and should be the purpose of every church. Matthew 28:19-2
