First Baptist Church of Bushnell

We are pleased to offer a program to assist all members in the process of maturity as a Christian. Our Vision is for a church where all members are part of evangelism, involved in some way carrying the Word to those outside of our church. We realize that new members need assistance in learning. We understand that spiritual growth should never stop.To assist all our members, new and longtime, we have introduced Christian Life and Service Seminars (C.L.A.S.S.) to teach us all what it means to be a mature Christian, how to be involved in ministry, and how to reach out to those who are not saved.

C.L.A.S.S. 101 - This is a basic introduction to our church family for new members. It will clearly explain who we are and what we believe. As part of this course, you will study four things that unite us as a body of believers.

• Our Salvation - what God has done for us.
• Our Statements - why our church exists.
• Our Strategy - how we fulfill our purpose.
• Our Structure - how we are organized.

You will be given the opportunity to become a member of our church after completing this class.

C.L.A.S.S. 201 - Introduction to Spiritual Maturity teaches us to change our habits and how to learn to spend our days in God's company.

• Devotions - spending time in God's Word.
• Prayer - talking and listening to God.
• Tithing - participating in God's work.
• Fellowship - enjoying your church family.

C.L.A.S.S. 301 - Discover your S.H.A.P.E. allows you to discover your special talents and abilities to serve God and reach others by sharing the Word of Jesus Christ our Savior.

• Spiritual Gifts - what God has given you special ability to do.
• Heart - what you are passionate about.
• Abilities - what skills and talents you have.How you interact with others.
• Experiences - what you been through in life.

C.L.A.S.S. 401 - Mission teaches you how to share with family, friends and co-workers what Jesus Christ has done in your life. You will learn how to develop and share testimonies in a way that is natural and comfortable for you. You will find a unique way to become part of sharing the Good News and bringing others to Christ.
